Mary Gallichio has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Beginning in the field straight out of high school, Mary quickly obtained her agent’s license and has been working in the business for the majority of her career. In addition to a wealth of knowledge concerning various insurance products and practices, Mary is also experienced in insurance office management, payroll processing, accounting and an array of other areas.
Mary comes from a large family in rural Wisconsin. She and her nine siblings would regularly help around the modest dairy farm they lived on, doing any type of chore imaginable within the homestead. Her family lived mostly off the land, gathering the majority of their daily food from their own livestock and the large garden they planted and tended themselves. It was a simple and hearty life, complete with her attendance to a one-room country schoolhouse and a menagerie of different pets (including at times a Sandhill crane, deer, goats and crows.) Sometimes it was a difficult life as well, but Mary wouldn’t change it for a thing.
Today, Mary is married to Dan, her husband of 35 years. She has two children, two step-children and three grandchildren (though she hopes for more of those in the not too distant future.) Having lived most of her life in Wisconsin, the family relocated to Florida a little over 11 years ago.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys cooking, craft-work, artistic endeavors, reading, doing various types of puzzles, card games and just generally enjoying her time spent with family.
